What to expect during your consultation at Centre for Surgery
The purpose of the consultation with the surgeon is for you to help you gain a fuller understanding of your aims and objectives and also for the doctor to discuss with you the full range of treatment options with their pros and cons. Some treatments may be abel to be performed on the same day as your consultation.
For plastic surgery procedures, consultations are currently free of charge and a £25 holding deposit is required to confirm your appointment. The holding deposit is collected at the time of booking your consultation. Please give us 48 hours notice if you wish to reschedule your consultation.
During your consultation, the following areas will be covered:
A complete medical history and your current medications taken
A detailed discussion of your ideas, concerns and expectations for the treatment in question
The doctor will discuss the range of treatment options and their pros and cons
The doctor may perform 3D computer imaging to give you a broad idea of how you could look after your procedure
Our expert patient coordinators will guide you through the consultation process and will be your dedicated point of contact for all questions you may have both before and after your consultation. A personal quotation will be given to you after your face to face consultation with a doctor.
