Warts can appear all over the body, but will commonly appear on the feet and hands. While they will generally go away after a few months, they can last longer or reoccur if not properly treated. Warts will generally not cause any physical discomfort, however, many people will consider them to be aesthetically unappealing.
Verrucas will occur on the soles or toes of the feet. This occurs when a wart forms and is pushed inward, causing hard skin to form over the top of it. Verrucas can often cause physical pain.
