There are many different types of skin, oily, dry, scarred aged and more. With these different types of skin type’s people use products or treatments ‘designed’ to help this skin, however, this does not usually work. Here at Centre for Surgery, we offer four minimally invasive, non-surgical Skincare treatments to help with the more common skin issues.
Ageing skin
This procedure involves 15ml of blood to be extracted from the patient’s arm. This blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the remaining blood. The platelets are then injected into the needed areas like the corners of the eyes and forehead. This procedure helps to:
- Promote elasticity in the skin.
- Remove fine lines and wrinkles.
- Gives more youthful skin
- Helps to heal tissue damage.
- Brightens the complexion
Scarred skin
A Dermaroller is a roller device which has hundreds of minuscule needles. It is run over the skin in a back and forward motion over the scarred area. The little needles will injure the scarred issue making the skin produce collagen and heal the scars and the skin underneath fully. This also works on stretch marks. This procedure also:
- Treats sun damaged skin
- Helps to remove fine lines
- Removes acne scarring
- Removes stretch marks
Clogged pores/ skin
Microdermabrasion is a procedure which is a skin resurfacing treatment. It removes the top layer of your skin and dead skin cells using minuscule sterilised crystals. These crystals exfoliate the skin leaving new, healthy skin after the treatment.
This procedure treats:
- Congested skin/ blackheads and large pores
- Dry skin
- Mild acne
- Dull skin
- Reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles
Multiple skin issues
Chemical skin peels help many different types of skin in different ways. Chemical peels are a treatment which uses two different types of acid, AHA (Alpha hydroxyl acid) and TCA (Trichloroacetic acid) these acids are then applied to a clean face and left to dry. After this procedure, it will take one to two days but your skin will naturally begin to peel removing any impurities with it. These acids are 100% safe and are dermatologically tested. They also come in different concentrations for different skin types. This treatment helps to:
- Remove light acne scarring
- Relive sun damaged skin
- Resolve Pigmentation problems
- Brighten the skin
- Remove fine lines
When choosing the treatment best-suited skincare treatments you should consider the outcomes you will want. You should consult with the therapist beforehand to make sure that treatment is the right choice.
