The evolution of non-surgical cosmetic procedures has progressed ferociously over the last ten years. At Centre for Surgery, our heritage lies in traditional surgical approaches for results-driven outcomes. Patients often tell us that their lives have been transformed with a huge increase in confidence. Not everyone is keen on the idea of surgery, and many may not be ideal candidates.
Our treatment philosophy is to ensure that whatever treatment is recommended by your doctor, be it surgical or non-surgical, is the right treatment for you. Our doctors will not recommend a surgical procedure with no benefit. Similarly, they will be equally honest and straightforward if we believe a nonsurgical treatment is not going to give you the results that you hoped to achieve.
We always get super excited when new treatment techniques, technologies or procedures become available because we pride ourselves on offering our patients the full range of treatment options, from non-surgical to surgical, to help them achieve their aesthetic goals, which consider lifestyle factors. Against this background, we are very pleased to have launched a new range of non-surgical facial rejuvenation and body contouring treatments known as FaceTite, BodyTite and AccuTite.
What are FaceTite, BodyTite and AccuTite?
FaceTite, BodyTite, and AccuTite are minimally invasive skin tightening treatments that employ advanced radio-frequency technology to effectively treat patients with mild to moderate skin laxity on both the face and body. What sets these treatments apart from other less effective treatments is that they can combine powerful skin tightening with fat reduction using MicroLipo. The benefits include stimulation of the production of collagen and elastin in the skin, and it can be used on both larger and smaller treatment areas. With most non-surgical skin tightening treatments, the degree of skin tightening that can be achieved is often modest at best and unable to remove localised pockets of unwanted fat, which means that most patients will need different treatments to achieve the desired effect, leading to increased costs.
Radiofrequency technology with FaceTite, BodyTite, and AccuTite delivers focused radio-frequency thermal energy to the deeper layers of the skin and superficial fat below the skin surface. Controlled application of this energy with bipolar handpieces leads to contraction of existing collagen fibres, skin tightening with simultaneous destruction of superficial fat cells and an inflammatory wound healing process that stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen. The soft tissue remodelling leading to improved skin quality happens up to 6 months after the procedure. FaceTite, BodyTite, and AccuTite can be combined with Morpheus8 fractional RF microneedling for even more effective skin tightening without requiring more invasive surgery.

Which face and body areas can be treated with FaceTite, BodyTite and AccuTite?
The fantastic benefits of FaceTite, BodyTite and AccuTite are that these treatments are versatile enough to be used on virtually any part of the face or body.
FaceTite is used to reduce and tighten skin on areas of the face and neck that are prone to the development of skin sagging and laxity over time. FaceTite is especially effective in tightening the lower part of the face, including the jawline, jowls, lower cheeks, chin and neck, with the simultaneous melting of fat cells, which gives rise to a more defined and youthful appearance.
BodyTite addresses larger body areas such as the abdomen, sides, back, arms, and inner and outer thighs. It can simultaneously tighten skin and reduce fat, developing smoother, tighter, and healthier-looking skin.
AccuTite is the newest addition to the FaceTite and Bodytite family. It is a miniaturised RF device designed to treat small and delicate areas such as the upper and lower eyelids. AccuTite is also highly effective for treating the nasolabial folds, smile lines, and jawline contouring.
Am I suitable for FaceTite, BodyTite and AccuTite?
FaceTite, BodyTite, and AccuTite are effective treatments for mild to moderate skin laxity, but they cannot be used for everyone. In keeping with other types of non-surgical treatment, such as laser fat reduction and laser skin tightening, there will be significant improvements in the areas to be treated. Still, these treatments cannot match the dramatic improvement that procedures such as a tummy tuck or facelift can achieve. This is why it is very important to have a clinical assessment from one of our surgeons, who will be able to determine the best treatment for you. The general principle behind these minimally invasive skin tightening treatments is to define and contour specific areas of the face or body, leading to more subtle results and, therefore, more natural-looking.
Patients with mild to moderate skin laxity in the face and with still a good proportion of skin elasticity with a solid underlying bone structure can benefit from FaceTite and AccuTite without the requirement to have a facelift. FaceTite or Accutite is commonly combined with MicroLipo or submental liposuction for patients with excess fat in the submental area also known as a “double chin”.
BodyTite is an ideal treatment for patients who are already very close to their target body weight but may be looking to reduce areas of localised fat deposits that are proven resistant to diet and exercise and with the additional benefit of skin tightening in areas that have developed mild to moderate skin laxity. At Centre for Surgery, our surgeons commonly combine BodyTite with MicroLipo to simultaneously correct excess fat and loose skin as an outpatient procedure under local anaesthetic.
How long do the results for FaceTite, BodyTite, and AccuTite last?
Non-surgical aesthetic treatments are generally not known to have permanent effects compared with more invasive surgical treatments. Radiofrequency skin tightening treatments with FaceTite, BodyTite, and AccuTite are exceptions to this principle.
These treatments are known to have long-term effects and, in many cases, can be permanent after just one treatment. This is why these treatments are often known as “one-and-done” procedures with no need for prolonged treatments at regular intervals. BodyTite is considered to result in treatment effects that are more or less permanent, provided patients maintain a healthy weight through a sensible program of diet and exercise. The main factor that can affect results after BodyTite is the natural ageing process, leading to a recurrence of skin laxity.
The results of FaceTite and AccuTite differ based on the pre-existing degree of facial skin laxity. Patients may derive more significant benefits from annual maintenance treatments, but for many younger patients, results can last 3 to 5 years after just one treatment.
The results of FaceTite, BodyTite and AccuTite, common in surgical procedures, are subject to the effects of the ageing process or significant fluctuations in weight. After treatment, the effects of ageing or weight changes will have a lesser impact on the development of skin laxity when compared with patients who have had no treatment.
