FAQ

Your journey into aesthetic surgery has been quite remarkable. What inspired you to pursue this field?
From a young age, I was always fascinated by the transformative power of medicine. The ability to improve someone’s quality of life, whether physically or psychologically, was something that truly resonated with me. During my medical training, I was drawn to surgery because of its precision and the immediate, tangible results it could achieve. However, it was aesthetic surgery that really captivated me. Unlike many other areas of surgery, where the primary focus is on treating illness or injury, aesthetic procedures allow patients to enhance their confidence and self-esteem. Helping individuals feel comfortable in their own skin is incredibly rewarding, and that is what led me to specialise in this field.

This level of integrity, combined with our state-of-the-art facilities, ensures that our patients receive outstanding care throughout their journey with us. -
You’ve worked with a wide range of patients. What do you find most rewarding about your work?
The most fulfilling part of my job is witnessing the impact that aesthetic surgery can have on a patient’s confidence and overall well-being. When someone comes to me feeling self-conscious about a particular aspect of their appearance, I see not only the physical concern but also the emotional weight they carry. Once the procedure is completed and they see their results, their entire outlook can change.
It’s not just about appearance—it’s about how they feel about themselves. I’ve had patients tell me that they feel more comfortable in social settings, have greater self-esteem, or even feel motivated to pursue new opportunities in life. Seeing that transformation and knowing I played a role in their journey is truly rewarding. -
Are there any common misconceptions about aesthetic surgery that you often encounter?
Absolutely, there are several misconceptions surrounding aesthetic surgery. One of the most common is the idea that cosmetic procedures are purely about vanity. In reality, many patients seek treatment for deeply personal reasons that go beyond appearance. Some have struggled with insecurities for years, while others want to restore their confidence after major life changes, such as pregnancy or weight loss.
Another myth is that cosmetic surgery always results in an unnatural or exaggerated look. The truth is, when performed by a skilled surgeon, the results should enhance a patient’s natural features rather than completely alter them. A well-executed procedure should be subtle and in harmony with the individual’s proportions. My goal is always to create a balanced, natural appearance rather than an artificial one. -
In recent years, there has been a surge in demand for cosmetic procedures. What do you think is driving this trend?
There are several factors contributing to the rising popularity of aesthetic procedures. One of the main reasons is the increasing acceptance of cosmetic surgery. In the past, there was a stigma attached to having work done, but that has changed significantly. People are now more open about their procedures, and social media has played a huge role in normalising aesthetic treatments.
Advancements in technology and surgical techniques have also made procedures safer, more effective, and with shorter recovery times. Many treatments that used to require extensive downtime can now be performed as day-case procedures with minimal disruption to a patient’s routine. Additionally, the rise of non-surgical treatments has given people more options to enhance their appearance without committing to surgery. -
What advice would you give to someone considering an aesthetic procedure?
The most important thing is to do thorough research and ensure that you are choosing the right surgeon and clinic. Cosmetic surgery is a significant decision, and it should never be rushed. Patients should take their time to find a qualified, experienced surgeon who prioritises their safety and well-being.
It’s also crucial to have realistic expectations. Surgery can achieve incredible results, but it’s important to understand its limitations. A good surgeon will always be honest about what is possible and guide patients towards procedures that suit their individual needs.
Finally, I always encourage patients to do it for themselves and not because of external pressures. The best results come when someone makes the decision to enhance their appearance based on their own personal desires, rather than feeling influenced by societal trends or the opinions of others. -
How do you stay at the forefront of developments in aesthetic surgery?
Aesthetic medicine is a constantly evolving field, and as a surgeon, it’s essential to stay updated with the latest advancements. I regularly attend international conferences, participate in training courses, and engage in discussions with fellow experts in the industry. Learning is a lifelong process, and I make it a priority to keep refining my skills and staying informed about new techniques and technologies.
I also believe in evidence-based practice. Every treatment or surgical approach I use is backed by research and clinical studies. Patient safety is my top priority, so I only incorporate methods that have been thoroughly tested and proven to be both effective and safe. -
What do you see as the future of aesthetic surgery?
The future of aesthetic surgery is incredibly exciting. We are already seeing a shift towards less invasive procedures with faster recovery times, and I expect this trend to continue. Technological advancements are allowing us to refine our techniques even further, offering patients better outcomes with minimal downtime.
I also anticipate a growing emphasis on bespoke treatments. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, aesthetic medicine is becoming increasingly personalised. The focus is on tailoring procedures to suit each individual’s unique features, ensuring results that look natural and harmonious.
Additionally, I believe there will be even greater integration of non-surgical and surgical treatments. Many patients now choose to combine procedures such as injectables, laser treatments, and skin rejuvenation with surgery to achieve a more comprehensive result. This holistic approach to aesthetics is something I see becoming more prevalent in the years to come. -
Final thoughts – what message would you like to share with potential patients?
My main message would be that aesthetic surgery is a deeply personal journey, and it’s important to choose the right path for yourself. If you are considering a procedure, take the time to educate yourself, consult with an experienced surgeon, and ensure you feel completely comfortable with your decision.
At Centre for Surgery, we are committed to delivering outstanding patient care and exceptional results. Whether you are looking for subtle enhancements or a more transformative procedure, our team is here to guide you every step of the way. Our goal is always to help our patients feel more confident and happy in their own skin.
I had been considering a Brazilian Butt Lift for years, but I was nervous about finding the right surgeon. After extensive research, I chose Dr Nizamoglu, and I could not have made a better decision. From my consultation to my recovery, he was attentive, reassuring, and extremely professional. He sculpted my waist with Vaser liposuction and transferred fat to my hips and buttocks to create the perfect shape for my body. The results are stunning—natural yet enhanced in all the right ways. I finally have the curves I have always wanted, and I feel amazing in my clothes.
After struggling with stubborn fat in my abdomen and thighs despite regular exercise, I decided to have Vaser liposuction with Dr Nizamoglu. He listened carefully to my goals and explained everything in detail, which put me at ease. The results have completely exceeded my expectations—my body is more sculpted, and I feel so much more confident. The recovery was smoother than I anticipated, and his post-operative care was excellent. If you are thinking about body contouring, I highly recommend Dr Nizamoglu—his expertise is truly exceptional.
After losing a significant amount of weight, I was left with loose skin on my stomach and arms. I wanted a non-invasive option to improve my skin tightness, and Dr Nizamoglu recommended Argon Plasma treatment. The procedure was quick, and the results have been incredible. My skin feels firmer, and I can see a noticeable improvement in my body’s overall tone. I love that I did not have to undergo major surgery to achieve these results. Dr Nizamoglu’s expertise and guidance were invaluable, and I am thrilled with my new look.
I was drawn to Dr Nizamoglu because of his focus on safety, especially when it comes to BBL surgery. He took the time to explain the procedure, risks, and recovery in detail, which gave me complete confidence in him. My results are fantastic—he enhanced my natural shape without making it look unnatural. I appreciate his careful and artistic approach, and I would not trust anyone else for body contouring surgery.
