At a glance

  • These terms cover your use of our website; your treatment is covered by separate patient terms and conditions we give you before you pay.
  • The information on our website is general and is not medical advice: only a consultation can tell you whether a procedure is right for you.
  • Before-and-after photographs are of real patients, shown with their consent; your results may differ.
  • You keep all your legal rights as a consumer, including a 14-day right to cancel bookings made by phone, email or online.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

1. About us and these terms

This website, centreforsurgery.com, is run by M Sarwar Limited, trading as Centre for Surgery, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12148209). Our registered office is 95-97 Baker Street, London, England, W1U 6RN, and our VAT number is GB 345 6110 20. “We”, “us” and “our” mean M Sarwar Limited.

We run a private hospital at 95–97 Baker Street, registered with the Care Quality Commission (provider ID 1-8123032215, location ID 1-12168174584). The doctors who treat our patients are registered with the General Medical Council. You can contact us on 020 7993 4849 (9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday) or at contact@centreforsurgery.com.

These terms apply to your use of our website. By using it, you agree to them, so please read them carefully. Your treatment with us is covered by the separate patient terms and conditions we give you before you pay for a consultation or surgery. Our privacy policy explains how we use your personal information.

2. Using our website

You may use our website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

  • use it in any way that breaks the law or is fraudulent;
  • send or upload anything that is defamatory, offensive, or that you do not have the right to share;
  • send unsolicited advertising or promotional material;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, the server it is stored on, or any connected system or database;
  • introduce viruses or other harmful material, or attack the website with a denial-of-service or similar attack;
  • use automated tools to copy, scrape or extract content from the website.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of our website at any time, and we do not promise that it will always be available or free from errors.

3. Medical information on our website

The information on our website is general information about cosmetic and plastic surgery, reviewed by our clinicians. It is not medical advice and cannot take account of your own health, anatomy or circumstances. Only a consultation with a surgeon can tell you whether a procedure is suitable for you, and what the risks and likely results are in your case.

Reading our website, sending an enquiry or using a tool on it does not create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins at your consultation. All surgery carries risks: please read our guide to the risks and complications of cosmetic surgery before you decide.

Tools on our website, such as planners, checklists and suitability checks, give general guidance only. They do not replace the assessment and instructions your surgeon and nursing team give you, which always come first.

In an emergency

Call 999. If you are one of our patients and are worried about your recovery, for the first 24 hours after your surgery call your surgeon on the direct number in your discharge summary. After that, call us on 020 7993 4849 (9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday). Outside those hours, call NHS 111 for urgent medical advice that is not an emergency.

We work hard to keep our website accurate and up to date, but medical knowledge changes and some information may be out of date. Pages show when they were last reviewed where that matters.

4. Consultations, prices and finance

  • Nothing on our website is an offer to treat you or a guarantee of any result. Booking a consultation does not commit you, or us, to surgery.
  • Suitability. The consultant who sees you at your consultation decides whether surgery is safe and appropriate for you, and is the surgeon who performs your operation. We decline to operate when we do not think surgery is right for you.
  • Consultation fee. Our standard consultation fee is £100, which is redeemed against the cost of your surgery if you go ahead. A revision consultation, to assess surgery performed elsewhere, is £250 and is not redeemable against the cost of surgery. We confirm the fee for your consultation when you book.
  • Prices. Prices on our website are a guide. After your consultation, and before you pay, we give you a written quotation that confirms the total price for your treatment, including any VAT. It also tells you about any costs that are not included, and what they cost or how they are worked out: for example, compression garments and prescribed medicines are bought separately, and examination of any tissue removed (histology) is charged separately.
  • Deposits. To reserve a date for surgery we ask for a deposit. How deposits and fees are treated if you or we cancel or rearrange is set out in your patient terms and conditions before you pay.
  • Time to decide. We recommend at least two weeks between your consultation and your surgery, in line with professional good practice, so that you have time to think and ask questions.

Your cancellation rights. If you book a consultation or surgery by phone, email or online, the law gives you the right to cancel within 14 days. Your patient terms and conditions explain how this works, including what happens if you ask for your consultation or treatment to take place within those 14 days. Nothing in these terms or in our patient terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer.

Finance. Finance is available, subject to status. M Sarwar Limited, trading as Centre for Surgery, is an introducer appointed representative of Chrysalis Finance Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 631193). We are a credit broker, not a lender, and we introduce customers to Chrysalis Finance only. We do not receive commission from Chrysalis Finance for introducing you. See our finance options.

5. Before-and-after photographs

The before-and-after photographs on our website and social media are of real Centre for Surgery patients, shown with their written consent. They show the results those patients had. They are not a promise or prediction of your result: results vary from person to person with anatomy, skin quality, healing, the procedure and how closely aftercare instructions are followed.

Our patients’ photographs must never be copied, downloaded, shared or used anywhere else. Doing so may breach their privacy as well as our copyright.

6. Patient reviews

We want reviews of our care to be genuine and to give a fair picture. We invite every patient to review us after their treatment, and we:

  • do not write, buy or commission reviews, or post reviews about ourselves;
  • do not ask our staff, their families or friends to post reviews of us;
  • do not offer payment, discounts or gifts in return for reviews;
  • do not ask review platforms to remove genuine reviews, whether positive or negative.

Reviews are written directly on independent platforms, such as Google and Trustpilot, which moderate them and where we cannot edit or delete what a patient writes. Where we quote reviews on our website, we show a selection, reproduce the words exactly, mark anything we have shortened or changed, and link to the full record, so that you can read every review. If you think a review of us is fake or misleading, please tell us at contact@centreforsurgery.com and we will look into it. Read our patient reviews.

7. Our content and intellectual property

We, or the people who license content to us, own the copyright and other intellectual property in our website and everything on it, including text, images, videos, diagrams, logos and patient photographs. The name Centre for Surgery and our logo are ours.

You may view, print or download pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, and share links to them. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, adapt or use our content, or remove any copyright notice, without our written permission.

Our website links to other websites, such as regulators and professional bodies, for your information. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or for how they use your information. A link is not an endorsement.

You may link to our home page, or to any page, as long as you do so fairly and lawfully and do not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not suggest any association with us, or approval by us, that does not exist. We may ask you to remove a link at any time.

9. Your privacy and cookies

Our privacy policy explains how we use the personal information you give us. Our website uses cookies: strictly necessary cookies are always on, and analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link, and our cookie policy lists the cookies we use.

This site is protected by reCAPTCHA.

10. Our responsibility to you

Our website is provided free of charge for your general information. If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

Our website is for personal use, so we are not responsible to you for any loss of profit, business, business opportunity or revenue. We are not responsible for damage to your device or data caused by material you download from our website, where you could have avoided it by following our advice to use virus protection or by applying updates.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected. Your treatment is covered by your patient terms and conditions, not by this section.

11. Viruses and security

We do not guarantee that our website is secure or free from viruses or other harmful material. You are responsible for protecting your own devices and data, for example with up-to-date virus protection.

12. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of your experience with us, please tell us so that we can put it right. Our complaints policy explains how to complain, how long each stage takes and where you can go if you are not satisfied with our response.

13. Changes and other important terms

  • Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Please check this page whenever you use our website.
  • If part of these terms is not valid, the rest still applies.
  • Delays. If we do not insist on any of these terms straight away, we can still do so later.
  • Other people. These terms are between you and us. No one else has any right to enforce them.
  • Law and courts. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring legal proceedings about them in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Website terms: common questions

Is the information on your website medical advice?

No. It is general information, reviewed by our clinicians. Only a consultation with a surgeon can tell you whether a procedure is right for you.
