The following fat transfer photos are presented for educational purposes and for you to get an idea of how you could look after a fat transfer procedure. They do not represent the opinion or view of any patient regarding their result, and they are not intended to suggest the result that may be achieved by any other patient. The images are presented as factual guidelines and merely represent results that have been achieved by others. No two patients are alike and no two results are necessarily alike. Only a personal consultation with your surgeon can provide you with a reasonable expectation of the results you may achieve from any specific procedure.

What is fat transfer?
Fat transfer, also known as fat grafting or fat injection, is a surgical procedure that involves removing fat from one area of the body and transplanting it to another area where it is needed. The procedure typically involves liposuction to remove excess fat from an area of the body, such as the abdomen, hips, or thighs and then reinjecting the purified fat into the area of the body that needs enhancement, such as the face, breasts, or buttocks. The procedure is done under local anaesthesia or IV sedation, and recovery time can vary. It’s a popular procedure in cosmetic surgery as it can provide a more natural and subtle look compared to implants and fillers.
