Key Points
- How much does vaginal rejuvenation cost? It depends on the treatment. At Centre for Surgery, labiaplasty starts from £3,400, clitoral hood reduction from £3,500 and vaginoplasty from £6,000. Fotona laser treatments are £1,200 per session.
- How much is laser vaginal tightening? IntimaLase is £1,200 per session, and a course is usually two to three sessions four to six weeks apart.
- How much is non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation? All four Fotona laser treatments (IntimaLase, IncontiLase, RenovaLase and ProlapLase) are £1,200 per session; the number of sessions depends on the treatment and how severe the concern is.
- How much is vaginal tightening surgery? Vaginoplasty starts from £6,000, or from £8,500 combined with perineoplasty.
- Is laser or surgery better value? Laser costs less upfront and needs no recovery, but its effect is smaller and less lasting. Surgery costs more once but gives a structural, long-lasting result.
- Is vaginal rejuvenation available on the NHS? Not for cosmetic reasons. Prolapse and incontinence are treated on the NHS through urogynaecology.
- Can I spread the cost? Yes, finance is available, subject to status.
Vaginal rejuvenation is an umbrella term, so there’s no single price — it covers a range of surgical and non-surgical treatments, each costing something different. At Centre for Surgery, labiaplasty starts from £3,400 (one side), vaginoplasty starts from £6,000, and the four non-surgical Fotona laser treatments are £1,200 per session. This 2026 guide breaks down the full cost of every option, surgical and laser, so you can see exactly what you would be paying for.
If you are still working out which treatment you need, our guide to the types of vaginal rejuvenation explains what each one does, and our vaginoplasty cost guide covers vaginal tightening surgery prices in more detail. Surgical vaginal rejuvenation at Centre for Surgery is performed by a GMC-registered consultant gynaecological surgeon; the non-surgical laser treatments are delivered by the clinical team in the same CQC-regulated Baker Street hospital.
How much does vaginal rejuvenation cost in London?
Vaginal rejuvenation spans several different procedures, so the right way to think about cost is by treatment. Surgical procedures have set starting prices, confirmed in writing after consultation. Laser treatments are priced per session.

All surgical procedures are day cases — you go home the same day. Vaginoplasty and combined procedures are performed under TIVA (total intravenous anaesthesia), which is included in the vaginoplasty price; straightforward standalone perineoplasty can be done under local anaesthetic with sedation. Labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction prices are for local anaesthetic with sedation; if you would prefer to be asleep, or TIVA is clinically indicated, TIVA adds £1,000. Full labiaplasty pricing, including labia majora fat transfer, is in our labiaplasty cost guide. We recommend a two-week cooling-off period before any surgery.
Laser vaginal rejuvenation prices
| Fotona laser treatment | What it addresses | Price | Typical course |
|---|---|---|---|
| IntimaLase | Mild to moderate vaginal laxity | £1,200 per session | 2–3 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart |
| IncontiLase | Mild stress urinary incontinence | £1,200 per session | 2 sessions, a month apart |
| RenovaLase | Vaginal atrophy and dryness (genitourinary syndrome of menopause) | £1,200 per session | 3 sessions, monthly |
| ProlapLase | Mild pelvic organ prolapse symptoms | £1,200 per session | 3–5 sessions, monthly |
How much does non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation cost?
Non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation at Centre for Surgery uses the Fotona SMOOTH® non-ablative Er:YAG laser, delivered with the Fotona SP Dynamis Pro. Every treatment is £1,200 per session. Sessions take 15 to 30 minutes (30 to 45 minutes for ProlapLase), need no anaesthetic and no time off, and the number of sessions you need is agreed at consultation. Annual maintenance sessions, where recommended, are charged at the single-session rate. The full range is summarised on our vaginal laser treatment page.
How much is laser vaginal tightening (IntimaLase cost)?
IntimaLase laser vaginal tightening is £1,200 per session. A course is usually two to three sessions, four to six weeks apart, and your total is confirmed at consultation. It uses laser energy to stimulate collagen in the vaginal wall, which may improve tone in mild to moderate laxity, although results vary and the effect fades with time. Our guide to the benefits of IntimaLase explains who it suits, and our guide to sex after laser vaginal tightening covers the short aftercare.
How much is IncontiLase?
IncontiLase is £1,200 per session, usually as two sessions a month apart. It aims to strengthen the tissues supporting the urethra and may reduce mild leakage when coughing, sneezing or exercising. Our guide to urinary incontinence in women explains when laser is and is not the right first step.
How much is RenovaLase?
RenovaLase is £1,200 per session, usually as three monthly sessions. It aims to ease the dryness, thinning and discomfort of vaginal atrophy without hormones. Our guide to treatment options for vaginal atrophy compares it with creams, pessaries and other options.
How much is ProlapLase?
ProlapLase is £1,200 per session, usually as three to five monthly sessions depending on severity. It aims to improve symptoms of mild prolapse by tightening the supporting tissues, although longer-term results are not yet known. Significant prolapse needs a urogynaecology assessment.
What’s included in the price
Each surgical quote at Centre for Surgery is a single, transparent package covering:
- As many pre-operative consultations with your surgeon as you need
- Full pre-operative medical assessment
- The surgeon’s fee, the anaesthetic quoted for your procedure (TIVA, or local anaesthetic with sedation), and theatre time at our CQC-regulated Baker Street facility
- Dissolvable sutures — no return visit for removal
- Your surgeon’s direct number for the first 24 hours, and our nursing team stays in contact over the first two weeks
- Nurse-led wound check at 7–10 days and a surgeon review at 6 weeks
- A dedicated patient coordinator throughout
The £100 consultation fee is redeemable in full against your procedure cost if you proceed. Laser treatments are charged per session, with the number of sessions agreed at consultation and no hidden additions. Any compression garment or prescribed medication you need is bought separately, and histology is charged separately where a sample is sent for analysis; your coordinator confirms these in advance.
What affects the cost of vaginal rejuvenation?
- Which treatment you need: the single biggest factor. Labiaplasty (external) starts from £3,400; vaginoplasty (internal) from £6,000. Laser treatments are a separate, per-session cost.
- Surgical or non-surgical: surgery is a one-off price for a structural, long-lasting result; laser is a course of sessions for milder concerns, with possible maintenance sessions later.
- Single or combined: combining procedures (for example labiaplasty with clitoral hood reduction, from £4,600, or vaginoplasty with perineoplasty, from £8,500) is more cost-effective than staging them separately.
- Anaesthetic: labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction prices are for local anaesthetic with sedation; choosing TIVA adds £1,000. Vaginoplasty includes TIVA.
- Degree of concern and complexity: the extent of laxity or labial excess, and whether you have had previous surgery, are assessed at consultation and reflected in your quote.
Surgical vs laser vaginal rejuvenation — how to weigh the cost
The cheapest option is not always the most cost-effective for your goals, and the two approaches do different things.
Laser has a lower entry cost and no recovery time, but the evidence shows modest, short-term effects. A 2026 meta-analysis of 10 sham-controlled randomised trials in the International Urogynecology Journal ↗ found that energy-based devices improved stress incontinence symptoms slightly more than sham treatment, with the most consistent benefit from non-ablative Er:YAG laser, the type used at Centre for Surgery, but the effects were modest and short-term[1]. For laxity, a small randomised placebo-controlled trial found that Er:YAG laser improved satisfaction with vaginal tightness for about three months on average[2]. For vaginal atrophy, sham-controlled trials of a different device, the fractional CO2 laser, have not shown a clinically meaningful benefit[3]; the evidence for Er:YAG treatment of atrophy is still developing.
Surgery costs more upfront but is a one-off with a structural, long-lasting result, and it can be spread with finance. In a 2010 multicentre outcome study of 258 women ↗, 91.6% were satisfied after female genital cosmetic surgery, with the greatest gains in sexual enjoyment after vaginal tightening and perineal procedures[4].
For some patients a laser course is a sensible interim step, particularly those who have not finished having children, as a later vaginal birth can stretch a surgical repair; our guide to vaginoplasty before having children explains the timing. Our guide to whether vaginal laser is safe covers the risks. Your surgeon or treating clinician will give an honest recommendation at consultation rather than steer you towards the most expensive route.
Comparing vaginal rejuvenation prices between clinics
When you compare quotes, check that you are comparing the same treatment. “Vaginal rejuvenation” can mean surgery, a laser, a radiofrequency device or an injectable, and laser prices are quoted per session at some clinics and per course at others. Ask how many sessions are expected, whether maintenance sessions are needed, and what aftercare is included. Centre for Surgery offers Fotona Er:YAG laser treatments only; we do not offer radiofrequency vaginal treatments. Injectable options such as labia puffing are priced on their own service pages.
Is vaginal rejuvenation available on the NHS?
Vaginal rejuvenation performed for cosmetic reasons — appearance, tightness or sensation — isn’t funded by the NHS. It’s a self-funded treatment. Labiaplasty is very occasionally funded where there is significant functional impairment, but this applies to a small minority of cases and is assessed by your GP.
There’s an important distinction worth understanding. Where the concern is a genuine medical condition — significant pelvic organ prolapse (cystocele or rectocele) or severe stress urinary incontinence — that’s treated on the NHS by a urogynaecologist, through a different pathway, not by cosmetic vaginal rejuvenation. The NHS guide to pelvic organ prolapse ↗ explains the treatments available. If your main concern is prolapse or incontinence rather than laxity or appearance, an NHS urogynaecology referral is the more appropriate route, and your surgeon will tell you so at consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does vaginal rejuvenation cost in the UK in 2026?
It depends on the treatment. At Centre for Surgery in London, labiaplasty starts from £3,400, clitoral hood reduction from £3,500 and vaginoplasty from £6,000, with combined procedures priced higher. The four Fotona laser treatments are £1,200 per session, with the number of sessions depending on the treatment and your concern.
Why isn’t there a single price for vaginal rejuvenation?
“Vaginal rejuvenation” is an umbrella term covering several distinct procedures — labiaplasty, clitoral hood reduction, perineoplasty, vaginoplasty and four laser treatments — each addressing a different concern and each priced separately. Your quote reflects the specific treatment, or combination, that suits your anatomy and goals.
Does vaginal rejuvenation work?
Surgical vaginal tightening produces a lasting structural change, and published studies report high satisfaction. Laser treatments have smaller, shorter-lived effects, and the evidence varies by device and condition. Our guide to vaginoplasty reviews and results summarises the surgical evidence.
Is surgery or laser cheaper?
Laser has a lower entry point and no recovery, but it is a course of sessions, may need maintenance and suits milder concerns. Surgery costs more upfront but is a one-off with a long-lasting result, and can be spread with finance. The most cost-effective choice depends on the degree of your concern, assessed honestly at consultation.
Does insurance cover vaginal rejuvenation?
Vaginal rejuvenation for cosmetic reasons is self-funded, so check with your insurer before assuming any cover. Prolapse or incontinence needing treatment is usually managed through a urogynaecology pathway rather than cosmetic surgery.
How do you fix a loose or saggy vagina?
It depends on the cause. Pelvic floor exercises are the first step for laxity after childbirth. Mild laxity may respond to IntimaLase laser, and more significant laxity is treated with vaginoplasty. If the outer labia have lost volume, deflated labia can be treated with fat transfer. Our guide to ways to tighten your vagina compares the options.
Is it normal to have extra skin hanging down there?
Yes. The labia vary widely in size and shape, and labia minora that extend beyond the outer labia are common and normal. Treatment is only worth considering if it causes discomfort, rubbing or distress. Our guide to labia shapes explains the range of normal, and our guide to labial hypertrophy explains when labiaplasty may help.
How much is vaginal rejuvenation per month on finance?
You can pay in full or spread the cost with finance through Chrysalis Finance, subject to status. Plans and a representative example are on our finance options page, and a patient coordinator can talk you through them on 020 7993 4849.
Can vaginal rejuvenation procedures be combined?
Yes. Common combinations include labiaplasty with clitoral hood reduction (from £4,600), vaginoplasty with perineoplasty (from £8,500) and vaginoplasty with labiaplasty (from £8,000). Combining is more cost-effective than staging separate operations and means a single recovery.
