The hospital · Marylebone, London
Centre for Surgery is a CQC-regulated private hospital in Marylebone, three minutes’ walk from Baker Street station. Your consultation, your operation, your recovery and every follow-up take place in this one building, with the same team each time.
About the building
Most cosmetic surgery in London takes place in rented theatre time inside a larger hospital. Ours doesn’t. The building at 95–97 Baker Street was fitted out for one purpose: consultations, day-case surgery and recovery, run by our own nurses, anaesthetists and patient coordinators.
It is a discreet place to be treated. You are met at the door by someone who knows your name, consultations happen behind a closed door, and you recover in a suite set apart from the consulting rooms.
The hospital is registered with the Care Quality Commission and rated Good overall at its last inspection. You can read the full report, and the clinical outcomes we publish each year, on our outcomes and patient safety page. The industry awards we have received, including the WhatClinic Patient Service Award 2026, are listed on our awards and accolades page.
Everything from your first consultation to your final follow-up happens under one roof.

Your first visit
“You are met at the door by someone who knows your name.”
Reception and the waiting lounge are where your visit starts, and where the person with you can wait while you are in theatre or recovery. Consultations happen behind a closed door, and recovery is in a suite set apart from the consulting rooms.
A day-case hospital, set up so that most patients go home the same day.
Total intravenous anaesthesia is our standard for operations that need you asleep: less sickness and grogginess on waking, and home the same day for most procedures.
Our nurses run a pre-operative assessment before surgery is confirmed, so any health question is picked up well before the day.
Every operation is performed by a GMC-registered surgeon. The surgeon you meet at consultation is the surgeon who operates.
You are discharged when the nursing team is satisfied you are ready, with a responsible adult to take you home and stay with you for 24 hours.
What happens from the moment you arrive.
Reception checks you in and a nurse takes you through to get ready.
You see your surgeon to confirm the plan, then meet your consultant anaesthetist.
Your surgery takes place in one of our two operating theatres.
You recover in our suite under the nursing team and go home with a responsible adult.
Many patients travel to us from across the UK and abroad.
If you are travelling a distance, your consultation and pre-operative appointment can usually be combined into a single visit.
We have agreements with several hotels close to the hospital. Your patient coordinator shares the current options and rates.
If you are staying locally after surgery, overnight nursing can be arranged at an extra cost. Your surgeon advises when it is safe to travel home.
