What your quote covers

Your surgeon

The fee for your surgeon to perform the operation.

Anaesthesia

The anaesthetic your operation normally needs. If you choose TIVA for a procedure usually done under local anaesthetic with sedation, a supplement is added and shown on your quote.

Theatre and hospital

Theatre time, equipment and the clinical team at our CQC-regulated Baker Street hospital.

Implants, where used

Silimed breast implants, or the implant your operation needs, are included in the price.

Follow-up care

Your planned post-operative reviews with the surgical and nursing team.

Charged separately

Compression garments, prescribed medication and laboratory fees where tissue is sent for analysis. We confirm these before you book.

How pricing works

    Consultation

    Meet your surgeon at Baker Street. The consultation fee is £100 and is deducted from your procedure if you go ahead (revision consultations are £250 and not deducted).

    Written quote

    You receive an itemised quote for your treatment plan, including anything charged separately.

  3. 3

    Time to decide

    At least two weeks pass between your consultation and surgery, so you can make your decision without pressure.

  4. 4

    Booking and payment

    Secure your date, then pay in full or spread the cost with finance.

You can pay in full or spread the cost with finance through Chrysalis Finance, subject to status. M Sarwar Limited, trading as Centre for Surgery, is a credit broker, not a lender.

Cosmetic surgery costs: common questions

Why do cosmetic surgery prices vary so much between clinics?

Quotes differ mainly in who operates, which anaesthetic is used, where the operation takes place and what is included afterwards. A low headline price can leave out the anaesthetist, theatre time, follow-up appointments or the cost of treating a complication. When you compare quotes, ask each clinic for an itemised list of what is and is not included, and check your surgeon on the GMC medical register.

What does a cosmetic surgery quote include?

At Centre for Surgery, your quote covers your surgeon’s fee, the anaesthetic your operation normally needs, theatre and hospital costs, implants where used and your planned follow-up reviews. Compression garments, prescribed medication and laboratory fees for tissue analysis are charged separately, and a TIVA supplement applies if you choose TIVA for a procedure usually done under local anaesthetic with sedation. Everything is set out in your written quote before you book.

How much is a consultation?

£100. The fee is deducted from the cost of your procedure if you go ahead. A revision consultation, to assess surgery done elsewhere, is £250 and isn’t redeemable against your procedure. Your consultation includes an examination, a discussion of your options with your surgeon and a written quote.

How do people afford plastic surgery in the UK?

Many patients spread the cost with finance. We work with Chrysalis Finance, which offers plans over different terms, subject to status, and you can apply online or at your consultation. Finance isn’t available for BBL, buttock implants or a non-surgical butt lift. M Sarwar Limited, trading as Centre for Surgery, is a credit broker, not a lender. See our finance options.

Is it cheaper to have plastic surgery abroad?

The headline price abroad is often lower, but it rarely includes flights and accommodation, follow-up once you are home, or treatment of a complication after you return, which then falls to you or to the NHS. Having surgery close to home means your surgeon and nursing team can see you at every review.

Does private health insurance cover cosmetic surgery?

Usually not, because cosmetic surgery is elective. Some procedures with a medical purpose, such as breast reduction for back pain, eyelid surgery where hooding blocks vision, or septoplasty for breathing, may be partly covered depending on your policy, so check with your insurer before your consultation.
